New Milford always has been a welcoming, diverse community. New Milford Refugee Resettlement has been helping families become part of this town since 2016.
Supported primarily by private donations, we need your help to ensure the families moving to our town have their basic needs met until they are able to become self-reliant (which we help with too!).
Your financial contributions towards rent, clothing, food, and household needs will ensure refugee families thrive in this open and supportive town.
It is not more bigness that should be our goal. We must attempt, rather, to bring people back to the warmth of community, to the worth of individual effort and responsibility, and of individuals working together as a community, to better their lives and their children’s future.
